Equipment

  • 2 Spoons [1 to mix all of the ingredients & the other to flip]
  • 1 Medium bowl [to mix all ingredients]
  • 1 Frying Pan [to fry]
  • 1 Plate [to serve]
  • 1 Portable Food Processor [to minced all seasonings at once or simply a knife if you don't have it]

Ingredients

  • 1 corn [the big ones (you can use 2 medium ones)]
  • 6 cloves red onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 cloves chilli peppers [it could be more or based on ur preferences (you can skip it if you hate spicy) or you can change it into 1 stem of leek instead]
  • salt [based on ur preferences]
  • sugar [based on ur preferences]
  • 1 cup of warm water [or you can change it into coconut milk]
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of frying oil

Instructions

  • Separate corn from its cob (you don't use the cob) then grind it (once you've finished, put it into separated bowl) and add all-purpose flour mix it until everything are covered, set aside
  • Minced all at once red onion, garlic and chilli peppers (or leek) then add sugar + salt in-between (based on your preferences, tsp or a pinch, up to you)
  • Then add seasonings to grinded corn, mix it well
  • Add warm water (or coconut milk), make sure it wont turn into a runny type of mixture, then add egg, mix well
  • Then fry until golden brown (when it comes to frying, you can use a drop of its mixture 1stly, to determine it's hot enough to fry, once it's set, lowered the heat or you'll burn your fritters)
  • Enjoy it while it's still warm (you can use dipping sauce or enjoy it as it is)

Notes

  • It could be served as a side-dish of several main dishes or as your go-to snack which is easy to make, but please consume considerately as it’s bad to over consume fried stuffs (mostly something that has “over” in front of it is bad lol, grand example such as overcapitalism or you can name some for yourselves…)
  • When it comes to spoon or fork, I actually have more, basically you’ve to separate its usage between the uncooked & the cooked ones for every kitchen utensils
  • I’ll use 1 hour as my food prep preferences, but it could be less than that or more (washing & cleaning my kitchen after cooking, cuz it’s the basic hygene one has to master before-during-after cooking).

error: just dooon't ok? ;(
